Trained Nurse/Midwife/Healthcare Assistant/Phlebotomist and other Clinical Staff
In light of the increase in Blood Borne Virus (BBVs) infections both nationally and locally, NHS staff are therefore more likely to
come in to contact with infected patients. It is paramount that staff develop personal and professional skills in this field, with specific regard to safety, patient care and treatment.
The training is free of charge for all staff and education is delivered by specialists working in the field of BBVs. Detailed handouts will be provided.
